We have a team of highly skilled technology and finance professionals, and are currently looking for highly motivated field experts to be part of our high-energy team.

Where did it all start:Our journey started in 2010, when Raghu Kumar (RK), Ravi Kumar (RK) and Shrinivas Viswanath (SV) founded RKSV Securities India Pvt. Ltd., a proprietary trading firm. In 2012, we opened up to the general public by entering the retail brokerage space as a discount-broking firm. The dream was to make stock-market investing affordable and easy for all Indians, while ensuring that we also made profits from the venture. In 2016, we rebranded ourselves as Upstox. Kavitha Subramanian (KS) has now joined the founding team and is propelling Upstox to it’s new heights. The uniquely global-Indian model of Upstox is strongly reflective of the Indian-American antecedents of its co-founders, who bring their knowledge and experience of working in both the Indian and US financial markets.

Position: Business Development Manager

Role & Responsibilities:1. Would be a part of Authorised Partner Team, and shall be responsible to identify and on board prospect Partners who could be personalities or organisations that are either influencers such as Youtubers, Telegram Channel Owners, etc or a Finance specific APP owner or a Partner with other broking house or any other personality or organisation who shall drive customers to Upstox Platform2. Would be responsible in reaching out to Prospect Partners via Phone/Email/Social Media, and if required conduct meetings with the prospects3. Would be responsible to undertake Competitor Analysis, and accordingly reposition the proposal to the Prospect Partners4. Will have to maintain relationship with Partners by providing timely support, information, and resolution from time to time5. Will act as a bridge between Partners’ requirements, and accordingly communicate the need to the Technology team6. Would be responsible to strategize cross-functional campaigns to be conducted by BD & Marketing team

Ideal Candidate should have:1. Should have a Bachelor’s degree, a masters’ degree is preferable2. Should possess exceptional written & verbal communication skills, must enjoy traveling and should push yourself beyond your comfort zone3. Should have a track record of sourcing, engaging with, and selling products/services to corporate/SME clients 4. Should be good at creating sales presentations and have strong, in-depth analytical skills5. Should have confidence/skills to deliver product pitches to prospect partners6. Should be inquisitive to learn new concepts, and accordingly should be able to articulate the requirements7. Having a thorough understanding of the financial market is a huge plus as is the ability to build new business relationships, and leverage existing ones to drive B2B sales
