Description The Finance & Admin Assistant will assist the Head of Finance. These roles are very broad and cover most aspects of accounting and office administration with the opportunity to grow as the business


Responsible for Financial Accounting system on a day-to-day basis

Assist Head of Finance & Administration on all purchases and payments

Deal all taxation requirements independently reporting to the Head of Finance and Administration within the specified timelines.

Deal with all statutory payments working as a team with Administration within the specified timelines.

Preparation and verification of Payroll.

Work in tandem with the Head of Finance and Administration in the areas of travel, conveyance and employee claim settlements and advances.

Cash operations… preparation of cash vouchers, numbering of vouchers and Maintenance of Cash Book on daily basis

Maintenance of TDS control registers (for Contractors, Rent, Professional charges, Advertisements etc.,) and remittances of the same before due dates.

Processing of Employees Monthly reimbursements and maintenance of necessary Control Registers for Monthly allowances reimbursement, Medical reimbursement and Fuel reimbursement, Food Coupons on monthly basis.

Checking of Inland and Overseas Travel /Foreign Travel Advances/Settlements and passing of necessary settlement entries and Maintenance of control registers for the same.

Manage the office maintenance schedules for daily and periodical service.

Supervise housekeeping, maintenance team, and security members.

Ensure that periodical facility security check ups and conducted in time.

Manage petty purchases and pantry purchases.

Assist purchases – Issuance of POs, follow ups and Warranty services.

Experience on SEZ will be an added advantage Ad hoc tasks

Requirements Graduate level preferred at least 3-4 years experience in similar role.

Confidence and dedicated attitude to take responsibility for resolving issues

Sound basic accounting knowledge

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Advanced Excel skills competency in manipulating and reporting on large amounts of data

Ability to prioritise, multitask and deliver against tight deadlines

Proficiency in Excel, Word and Microsoft Outlook, Accounting Packages like Tally
